Neuroverse Is Turning 4!

Valentine's Day is fast approaching, and for us at Neuroverse that means it's time to celebrate another anniversary! We genuinely cannot believe how fast time has flown by since the start of Neuroverse back in 2022. Both me (Clara) and Carolina are now deep into our PhDs, which means getting a feel for what it's like to be real scientists, but also relying on Neuroverse as a means to keep our minds open and active, and boy am I grateful for that! I think this past year we've both mentioned our own research more than ever during some of our conversations (we just can't help it!) though I think it's safe to say that the topics we covered remain as broad as before.

And some things just don't change, like our pages-long list of episode topics we want to cover, that only keeps growing. We're still always on the look out for collaborators, and brainstorming ways to keep Neuroverse engaging. We've reduced the frequency of our episodes to one a month, but want to keep them coming regularly, and hopefully continuing to increase the quality of our content.

We've been planning the coming year and have some aspirations in the works. Firstly, there is going to be a new mini-series, and we'd love for you to comment on our social media (@Neuroverse_Pod on Instagram) what you think it's going to be on. Here's a hint: think from a different point of view, from outside the box... We've also got more episodes to come in our Tools for Looking into the Brain series, our long-standing mini-series about experimental neuroscience methods. A highlight of our past year is the expansion of our team, with Tess joining us as social media manager. She's already done an amazing job giving our Instagram an aesthetic makeover, so keep your eyes peeled for more engaging content on our socials.

Finally we want to thank you, our listeners, for sticking with us! Whether you've been here from day one, or joined at any point along the way, we never really expected to grow this much as a pretty niche podcast led by two students, and have only been increasingly inspired to keep having & broadcasting conversations about all things science & philosophy.

Lots of love from all of the Neuroverse team <3
